Meet the pastors!

Pastors Owen and Kate Morris moved to Inverness in July 2003 with a vision to launch a new church in the city.  Their desire is to see people set free by the power of God and equipped to live victoriously in every area of life.

Owen and Kate have been a part of Christian Outreach Centre since 1993, and for five years served as Assistant Pastors in Ayr C.O.C.  Under the ministry of Pastors John and Rachel Smillie, this church grew to over one hundred people and now has its own building, providing a base for many ministries. Here in Inverness Owen and Kate desire to see a strong, influential church active in the local community and beyond.

A teacher by profession, Owen is known for his passionate preaching and for clear and relevant biblical instruction on Christian living. He believes in using the prophetic to bring encouragement to others and is an enthusiastic worship leader.

Kate too has a love for preaching. She is gifted in leading worship and has a desire to see people connect with God in praise and worship. She has a love for children and a wide ranging experience in children’s ministry. Owen and Kate love family life and are thoroughly enjoying raising their own six children.
